Are you in the process of marketing the release of your new book, or have a book signing event coming up, or simply LOVE talking about your books and life?
You should email me! anita@race-point.com
Here is why: Starting January 2014, I will be implementing author feature articles to my social media networks (Blogsite, Facebook page, LinkedIn and Twitter.) I hope to publish these bi-weekly. These articles will be a great way for readers to get behind the scenes of the workings from the author’s perspective. I will have a set of questions for the author to fill out as well as giving the author free range to include any information they also would like to share with their fans.
In addition, starting Monday January 6th I will open my Facebook page, for a weekly “Author’s Share” segment. This will be a great way to help market your new releases and upcoming events. Quick and easy! You can easily connect with my Facebook page here, like it and be notified in your timeline so you don’t miss out on this great marketing opportunity.
So, if you are a self-published author, indie writer, or know an author or two, please forward this post to them and let them know I am offering them an outlet to market their works. (You do not have to be an author that I have worked with.)
This week’s Marketing Tip:
One of the biggest challenges an author faces today is getting their books into reader’s hands. One way to help speed up this process is to get reader reviews. Offer your book for free, in return for a fair and honest review. Once you have 10-15 reviews you should start seeing some changes in your sales activity.
Best of luck and happy writing!
